District 1 Gathering in Kansas City, MO – May 16th, 2025
Join Us for the Next District 1 Gathering – May 16!
District 1 citizens are invited to come together for a fun community gathering on Saturday, May 16 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM CDT at 6101 Ward Parkway, Kansas City, MO 64113.
We’ll start the day with a few brief updates about District 1 and our Nation (I will ramble less this time!), followed by time to relax, connect, and enjoy a shared meal together.
I’m also excited to welcome Laura and Brian Hewuse, who will lead a hands-on loom beading workshop! Whether you’ve beaded before or you’re completely new, this will be a great opportunity to learn something new, create something meaningful, and spend time with fellow District 1 citizens.
Because we’re providing food, looms, and bead kits, it’s important that we know how many people are coming.
Please RSVP by May 4 (may the 4th be with you!) so we can make sure everyone has a seat at the table and materials for the craft.

Parking & Entry Instructions
Parking is available in the small lot on the south side of the building. A ramp leads down to the north side of the building near the playground.
There is also a larger parking lot on the north side near the Small Chapel. From that lot, please enter through the glass doors on the north east side by the playground.
